The Youth Committee of Samail Sports Club, in cooperation with the Omani Nursing Association, organized a workshop yesterday morning in the VIP hall of the club on how to deal with stadium injuries, such as swallowing the tongue, cardiac arrest, heat stroke and sunstroke, presented by Nurse Samah bint Abdullah Al-Araimiah, a nurse and trainer of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the Omani Nursing Association. The episode included theoretical lessons and practical applications in dealing with these cases at the moment they occur, and how to correct procedures. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Rawahi, representative of the Youth Committee, explained that the episode was enriching in light of the many cases we see in our stadiums, whether in the league or even with the civil teams in the Sultanate, and the lack of sufficient knowledge of how to deal with them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
