Al-Zubair and his colleague Andy Soucek hope to compensate for what happened in the previous round, that was held at the Austrian Red Bull Circuit where the drivers were unlucky in the races; with Al-Faisal experiencing a change in the final result and the race being stopped due to rain, as well as the failure of Soucek in the other race which lost the team and drivers a large number of points. It is worth noting that Al-Faisal and Andy participate in the Porsche 911 GT3R, which is being prepared by the Lechner Racing Team.
Despite what happened to Al-Faisal in the last race in Austria, and his absence from the Hungarian round, he is still among the contenders for the first three places in the general standings for drivers, as he currently occupies fourth place in the general standings with 72 points, nine points behind the fourth place. He advanced to climb to third place, while his colleague Soucek maintained his second place with 90 points, 24 points behind the Italian lead duo Michaeli Beretta and Swiss Frederic Chandorf of the “Vincenzo Sospiri Racing” team, who participates in Lamborghini cars.

Faisal Zubair: “We hope to return to the podium!”
International racer Al-Faisal Al-Zubayr said, “We hope to return to the podiums after missing them in the last round due to the misfortune that afflicted us in Austria after being close to existence, but we know the events of motor racing, and we hope in the next round at the Monza circuit we will compensate and collect a number of points in order to maintain staying in the top three in the overall standings.” He added that the team is well prepared for this round and we are well acquainted with the Monza circuit and its turns, which is one of my favorite tracks, and the team admires the level that my Spanish colleague Souchek and I showed during the past rounds, and added: “The race will be difficult with the participation of four or five cars of pro guests, but I am sure that together with Andy I will be able to score good results”
